Cure to the continious desire to sin

                  نالہ کردم کہ تو علام الغیوب
                   زیر سنگ مکر بد مارا مکوب
O knower of the hidden, I implore You with earnest crying and lamenting, Save us from becoming grinded under tge stonr of deceitful plots.
( Moulana Rumi رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ).

                Moulana Rumi رحمۃ اللہ علیہ is begging in the illustrious court of Allah Ta'ala, " O He Who is fully aware of all faults , you are without doubt aware of my every state and condition comma my every secret, my every sin, whether committed in the light of day or in the darkness of the night , do not therefore cut me off with the separation which comes through the deceitful tricks of Nafs and Shaytaan. Due to the evil of repeated sinning comma my desires to disobey you are intensifying. I therefore beg you for your help by making easy for me the Mujahadaah, against Nafs. I am totally broken by this demands because deep within my heart I want to abstain from sin. I want to avoid disobeying you"
      
        What therefore comma is a solution to this problem ? it comes in the Hadith Shareef that when the evil thought to leave Islam occurs, one should recite
  آمنت باللہ و رسلہ
I bring faith in Allah and all His Messengers.

                      Similarly, when the Desire to sin occurs or one's gaze settles on any attractive or beautiful woman or man and the direction of the heart shift away from your Moula ( Allah) and inclines even to the smallest degree towards some Layla, immediately recite :
آمنت باللہ و رسلہ
But do so after turning the gaze. It should not be that one is reciting this while still focusing ones sight on the beauty at hand because dad glance will be a statement without action on your part. In fact , the act of looking at Haram will bring the Curse of Allah comma how then can it be effective to recite this?
Therefore, turn your gaze from the beauty and recite.
The combination of these acts will confirm both heart and action because the correct action verifies the conviction of faith on Allah and His Messengers. Such verification without proof will In Sha Allah turn the focus of the heart from Layla to Moula.
The Hadith appears in Jami-us-Sagheer. Allama jalaluddin Suyuti رحمۃ اللہ علیہ has written that By the blessings thereof, the heart will remain pure of the whisperings of non-Allah  and The Majesty of Allah as well as the greatness of the messengers will come in the heart. By virtue of the Majesty of Allah and the honour of the messengers that settles in the heart, it will be like spraying of D.D.T on the heart which will poison the germs and destructive insects that consume one's imaan with their poison of non-Allah.
